WHAT IS A SOUND BATH?
A sound bath is given by playing different musical instruments to support with allowing the body, mind, and spirit to reach a state of relaxation so healing may occur on each level. As you lay down and each sound is played it will act as a tuner so your energetic field may allow any disharmonious spots to be re-harmonized. For this specific sound bath quartz crystal singing bowls will be used.
WHAT IS GRATITUDE?
Gratitude is one of the highest vibrations we can be in. Many times we get swept away with the to-do's of our day to day lives we forget to take a pause and embody true appreciation for where we are currently at and what we have presently in our lives. Gratitude is consciously showing appreciation for everything in your life big or small.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
We will begin with a short meditation to check-in and reconnect with our breathe. After the meditation, each person will share something they are grateful for so we may be in the frequency of gratitude during this sound bath journey. Once everyone has shared a statement of gratitude, you will get comfortable by laying down on your yoga mat and we will begin our sound journey. You will just relax and be open to receiving the beautiful healing frequencies of the crystal singing bowls as you venture into your inner world. As we near the end of this journey you will be guided to come back fully to your body. We will then close out with a grounding visualization.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
- A yoga mat to lay on (If you do not have access to one, we have extra to share)
- A pillow or two to use for added support for your body
- A blanket to cover yourself up as you lay down
- A covering to put over your eyes
- Please wear clothing that is comfortable, breathable, and loose
- Water to stay hydrated :)
Please be mindful of the time when arriving so you do not disturb others during their meditation
