The State of the World + Our Little Yet Big Part to Play in It
I feel like there’s so much going on right now… and yet, there always is. It just depends on how much more visible it becomes to us.
I sense that so much of our collective is in a space of numbing—the cold ice around the heart that forgets what it means to have true compassion for one another. With Vesta still in Scorpio, there’s an invitation to turn inward and tend to the sacred fires of transformation and purification. This energy supports diving deep into the shadows within, releasing what no longer serves, and reclaiming our inner sovereignty with fierce devotion. It’s a reminder that true healing often requires courageous soul work, surrender, and the willingness to face the depths with love.
We are in a purging period. And sometimes, to purge means to hit rock bottom—the kind of rock bottom that has long been buried in our collective subconscious.
Recent events, like the No Kings protest, serve as powerful reminders of the collective reclaiming sovereignty — a theme that resonates deeply with the upcoming Mercury Retrograde in Leo starting July 17, 2025. Mercury’s retrograde invites us to revisit and rethink how we express ourselves, where we give our power away, and how we can step back into full sovereignty over our voices and choices.
To see that so many people still choose to vote for Trump… to me, that reveals something important about where we are as a collective.
But I want to be clear—the problem never lies within one person. It lives within the patterns that lead so many to give their power away blindly to someone else. That kind of unconscious allegiance often deepens separation—because it mirrors the inner disconnection so many are carrying.
Alongside Mercury’s journey, Saturn stations retrograde on July 12, 2025, moving through Aries and Pisces — signaling a profound invitation to reconsider our boundaries. Saturn retrograde is a time to purify fear held from the past, especially fears that keep us stuck in old structures or ways of being. It asks us to pioneer forward with spirit in a new way — to courageously build healthy boundaries that support soul growth rather than limitation.
Meanwhile, Neptune’s stationing retrograde in Aries on July 4, 2025, and later dipping back into Pisces uplifts veils of illusion that no longer serve us. This is the energetic clearing that allows us to see with greater clarity, no longer choosing to be blind to the deeper truths within ourselves and the collective. Neptune pulls back the curtain on what’s been hidden, inviting a collective awakening.
We can’t ignore that. We are not just individuals floating alone—we deeply rely on one another. We are a pack, and the pack has lost its way.
It angers me that people are starving. That families are being torn apart. That lives are being lost.
But… there are things I do not know. There are soul contracts I can’t see.
What if what’s happening right now is exactly what needs to happen in order to shake us awake, to break the patterns that have kept us trapped in cycles of disconnection, denial, and dominance?
I wonder about this often—especially after reading channeled and esoteric material. It reminds me that life is never black and white. That there are infinite energies at play, all weaving together to allow each sentient being their unique experience and growth within Divine Consciousness.
When I come back to the truth that I do not know, that I cannot know—I find a strange sense of peace. I return to trust. To faith.
I don’t believe our existence was meant for suffering.
But to truly evolve—to move upward through the spiral of creation—we must take more responsibility. We must become more disciplined in allowing for change and movement. And above all else, we must begin to move with our hearts.
We must take soul-aligned action.
Of course, it takes time to marry the personality with the soul. That union doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a dance, a process, a daily invitation.
And it makes me wonder… does our country have a soul and a personality too? One that’s struggling to find union?
If so, perhaps the only way forward is through each of us learning to channel the energy we came here to share.
We live in duality. So maybe, in this human incarnation, duality will always be here. Light and dark. Love and fear. Creation and destruction.
But I believe this is why turning inward matters so much. Why understanding the inner world—and choosing to love it—can bring peace to the outer world.
I’m not sure of all the answers. But I know that I walk a thin thread between sadness and joy for our Greater Collective Consciousness.
And I choose to keep walking it—open-hearted, awake, and willing.
